Scope of the pilot

WaterPesa provides a water-service demonstration and developing account features for residents and organizations. Features labelled demo use simulated data. Account features depend on the configured authentication and storage services. These draft terms do not replace your agreement with a water utility.

Your account and organization

Use an email address you control and provide accurate details. Keep your password private and only submit information you are authorized to use. A confirmed email, provider selection or utility reference does not establish account ownership or grant organization permissions. Operator access requires separate authorization.

Payments, readings and connection requests

Demo payments do not move money, settle utility bills or create valid payment receipts. Do not rely on a demo balance or token as proof of payment. Continue using your utility’s established payment channels for real bills.

Manual readings and estimates are not certified billing measurements. They do not establish compatibility with a particular meter. Saved integration requests remain in your WaterPesa account; they are not sent to a provider and do not guarantee activation. Live payment, billing or meter connections need separate authorization and testing.

Responsible use

Do not attempt to access other people’s records, misrepresent utility affiliation, upload information without permission, or interfere with the service. Do not submit passwords, API secrets, payment PINs or private customer lists through pilot forms.

Availability and decisions

The pilot may change, become unavailable or contain errors. Keep independent copies of information you need. Contact your water provider directly for outages, water-quality concerns, emergency repairs and billing disputes; demo support cases are not delivered to a utility.

No pilot pricing, paid subscription, service-level guarantee or utility partnership is established by these draft terms. Any live commercial service needs its own confirmed terms. Nothing here is intended to remove rights available under applicable law.

Privacy and updates

Read the Privacy notice for the distinction between cloud account data and local demo records. The legal operator and contact details must be confirmed before these terms are finalized. A revised version will identify its date and any material changes.
